Kristi Watts is a gifted storyteller who draws the audience in with her down to earth personality and relatable style. Her humorous, yet honest approach has won over television audiences for over 25 years.
Although Kristi started out in news working at a local NBC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio she eventually found her niche in Christian television where she loved “getting to the heart of people’s personal stories.” She is known for her in-depth interviews with authors, celebrities, and public figures such as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and movie mogul Tyler Perry.
Kristi says that her most life-changing encounter was when she interviewed Nick Vujicic, an Australian man born with no arms or legs. “He is one of the greatest examples of how God can use someone with no arms or legs to be His hands and feet.”
Kristi produced and co-hosted an inspirational television program called Friend to Friend in Columbus, Ohio. During that time, she also created, produced, and hosted a weekly inspirational news magazine-style program called A Matter of Concern.
Kristi received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Today, through the platform of television, radio, women's conferences, and blogs Kristi shares her message of hope through Kristi Watts Ministries and her production company, Talk Yourself Happy Productions, LLC.
Most recently, she is a published author of the highly acclaimed book, “Talk Yourself Happy: Transform Your Heart by Speaking God's Promises.”

In this episode we cover:
You’ve been waiting for your weights to be lifted but have you considered that simply letting go of your weights could lift your wait?
You carry burdens so tightly wound in your grasp that they change you.
How being so focused on our problems tunnels our vision to the point where help could be to our right or left but we can’t see it!
Over time when we decide to let go some of us find:
1. There was nothing there all this time.
2. You were holding a feather, something so light and insignificant that with the slightest breeze it’s carried away.
3. Some were holding bricks—missing those easier paths traveled because you couldn’t see them so determined to carry your weight or burdens.
4. Now that you have let go of your weights (an emotional weight), a wait (a temporal wait) can be lifted.
5. The bricks you left at your feet must be destroyed because you’ve already developed the muscle mass to carry them and it would be so easy to pick them back up rather than retrain your mind and body for something new. They have to broken into manageable pieces through:
a) Wise counsel—medical and spiritual,
b) Doing what you know is right even when it’s difficult, even when you don’t want to and even when it’s uncomfortable, and
c) With the passage of time

Dr. Goldwyn Foggie and Carla Bonner are two sisters who have left their primary careers to build a wellness practice. Dr. Foggie’s passion stemmed from her desire to help people avoid chronic disease and obesity-related illness after the loss of loved ones. Carla’s passion came from suffering from her personal struggle with obesity. Their ministry is assisting others in overcoming battles associated with weight (which is a multi-factorial, neuro-behavioral, and psychological disease).
Dr. Foggie is a native Chicagoan, a graduate of Northwestern University as well as the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She practiced Obstetrics/Gynecology for over 20 years. Her parents suffered from obesity and struggled with kidney failure, amputations, cancer, and heart disease. Watching both of her parents live with these health challenges sparked her commitment to better nutrition and fitness and it made her want to help her patients as well. In 2016 she launched the Illinois Wellness and Weight Loss Centers (IWWLC).
Dr. Foggie helped her sister, Carla, shed over 100 pounds. After seeing the results of her commitment to herself, Carla left her career of 30 years as a chemical lab technician to join Dr. Foggie as a Certified Health Coach/Consultant and together they are dedicated to transforming lives. Carla then began her ministry, Journey to Wholeness which promotes lifestyle changes by educating and instilling healthy food habits that decrease the risk and impact of obesity.

Wendy Williams had a life-changing NDE (Near-Death Experience) in 1997 while pregnant. In 2010 she met the soul mate who “had the soul contract to wake me up spiritually; and he also had the contract to break my heart repeatedly”, until she stood in her power, fully, without abusing it, and got on her life path.
Over the next few years, she had so many Spiritually Transformative Experiences that she retrained as a Certified Spiritual Teacher, Reiki Master energy healer, and hypnotherapist specializing in past-life regression. She also became an author and began speaking about her soul-level experiences to assist others.
As a Past Life Adventure Guide, Wendy now helps adults from around the world who are struggling to release pain, anxiety, and depression. Through the techniques she’s learned working with some of the world’s most renowned hypnotherapy experts including, Dr. Brian Weiss, she has been able to lead clients through a healing process.

As a teenager, Michael was fortunate to receive guidance from positive adult role models who helped him overcome adversities and set high expectations for his future. Grateful for the role these mentors played in his own development, Michael decided to dedicate his professional life to helping people navigate the difficulties of life and launch their future into motion. For more than 25 years, he has been helping teens and adults to use what they have gone through as a catalyst for success rather than an obstacle for failure.
Michael received the 2010 USA Network’s Characters Unite Award for exceptional commitment to combating prejudice and discrimination while increasing tolerance and acceptance within the community. He is also the recipient of the 2014 100 Men of Color Award for leadership in education, government, mentorship, entrepreneurial success, and community service.
