Where My Dads @?!

Father's day has come and gone, but we can continue to be present and cherish every Dad moment. As fathers we often find ourselves lost in the "to-do" list ,missing out on the things happening around us, and failing to see the peace in those moments. On this episode I talk about striving to find peace and contentment in the little things and our little ones.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers and mother figures out there. Your role in helping to develop future fathers is priceless and this episode is dedicated to you for that reason! On this episode I talk about the importance of honoring the mothers of our children for our children's sake.  

As fathers we have the opportunity to influence our children in many ways. By taking the time to share our lives with our kids we build them up and instill life lessons that are priceless. In this episode I talk about the importance of taking time to share a hobby or interest with your kids, whether it's yours or theirs.

I was given the task of writing a letter to my Dad to get out the thoughts and feelings I had for him. This would not only free me from holding on to things I've wanted to say to him for years, but it would also allow me to see things from several different perspectives. Why was he the father he was, and how as a father myself I now better understand the responsibilities of being a Dad. How do my kids see me, and if they write a letter to me once they are older, what will it say? This gives me great insight as I move forward on my Dad journey. I understand that I can help my kids write their letter to me, and you can do the same for your kids!! Where My Dads @?!
