This week, on the Awoken series I break the heart of a player and violate another. the stakes are high, what would you be willing to risk to save the world from unknowable danger?

Prelude

        not so far back, and farther still away, our guess from the Underdark starts the Great Gagic War, where your own histories are known. this is my story, try not to die. what is the point your question that lingers on your lips that never slips. we need to stop them, the children of Jaelolth, once known as Lolth until one of you killed a god then sat in her place.

        "So Mary um there's something I wanted to talk with you about?"

laying in her bed, looking at the wall with a potted pocotto plant and not at you. "and what might that be" in a groggy and cold tone.

         Lilly dresses down and crawls back in bed next to her "I'm sorry I had to go, and in the end, we found out who did it"

"no you didn't, I mean, you didn't have to go. I'm not going to tell any Graywood what to do but you're a beekeeper, not a guardswoman or PI. I don't see why you had to risk life and limb for ....for what?"

         She sighs and leans on Mary's shoulder "You know about the upcoming war, right. Down in the south" I continue to tell her about Ghillie and everything that happened the whole truth. "I.... I'm scared. I don't know what to do. I know it's dangerous, but if I don't do something, the whole world might end" A distraught look glosses over her face, "and especially" She looks right into Mary's eyes. "I just ... don't wanna lose you too. I love you, you know that right?”

"Im not mad at you, not anymore. hurt maybe, but I have a clear understanding of what you need. in the morning ill see what I can do. and yes I know you love me."

        "Maybe we could take our relationship to the next step." She reaches out for her Mary's hand 

"you want me to quit my high-paying job and run away into the living forest proper with you, find a giant mushroom house to live in with you and grow old together?"

         She smiles and kisses her “I know I can’t always be here and that we can’t run away and do all of your crazy fantasy’s right now but Mary” She looks deeply in her eyes “I wanna spend the rest of my life with you”

while looking into your eyes, holding your hand. opens her mouth to say something, mutters softly. and looks of to the side, with a one-word response, softly slipping out. "no"

         "when all of this is over maybe we could run away together and live in a giant mushroom”

she smiles at you like she would enjoy that. however, she does keep glancing at the potted pocotto plant. also, known as the tears of Corellon, the god of the elves had the ability to see the future. every 20th and 40th-day pocotto blooms giving elves forsight that are attuned to it. its named after the battle sight of his death where they grow.

This week, on the Awoken series we find ourselves with one for in the grave and the cold hand of the dead pulling us deeper. Join our players in solving the murder mystery in Neshama, or will they be joining the victims that they are trying to make peace for. Bewarned that on our end, we have busy lives and some players will show up late and try to catch up when they can and the graceful DM has a baby shower for his sister in the background and tried to remove as much background noise that was possible.         each rotation I hide the stories, prophecies, and legends somewhere new. as the Titans fight on land and sea, the land breaks so badly that much is lost each time.         One very long lifetime of experience, what do I have to show for it? Death, so I kill. I'm very good at that, I can teach you if you want to know. you might listen, sometimes you do, other times you fail. remember to group up, if your alone who will save you when it comes for you? use polearms to keep your distance, joints, eyes, mouth anything softer looking. the first row stabs and backs up while replaced by the second. the third row fills the gaps and the fourth takes a 12-second breather. avoid magic, don't think, stupid gets you killed.
