Momentum is building around Wilfried Nancy’s expected unveiling, with many now seeing it as only a matter of time before the Frenchman is confirmed as Celtic’s next manager.

At 48, Nancy is known for a football philosophy rooted in modern infrastructure and data-driven decision-making - an approach he’d look to embed at Celtic if he accepts what would be his first role outside MLS.

His potential appointment appears to bear the imprint of Paul Tisdale, with Celtic’s Head of Football Operations understood to have championed the move to bring the highly rated Columbus Crew coach to Glasgow.
