The seal on Vaati's prison seems to be weakening, but when Zelda and the Six Maidens open the portal to the Four Sword Sanctuary, they are each imprisoned by Link's shadowy doppelganger. Pulling the Four Sword from its plinth, the now divided Link pursues the Maidens while Vaati's vengeful presence is unleashed upon Hyrule once again.
