While the festival world is on pause that doesn't mean we can't still chat about it! I talk to one of my favorite people and best young braiders in the game Hailee of Haileekayhair. We talk all about festival hair, cultural appropriation, and staying sane during these hard times.
These are some crazy times and they are only going to get crazier. Apologies on the sound quality here I was a little off my game but nevertheless this is a wonderful conversation Brittany, the owner of BrittsBlossoms a festival/rave accessories company. We talk about what it's like to run a small business during these hard times and how others can support them.
In this episode I talk with Gerard Anthony, an entertainment lawyer and General Counsel of AFROPUNK music festival. We talked about some of the legal issues surrounding many festivals getting canceled and postponed.
My guest today and I got to nerd out on some pretty interesting festival topics. Pooja (https://www.instagram.com/pooja_shahnanigans/) and I talked about everything from access control at events, to VIP experiences across festivals, and touched on some pretty cool sponsorship activations at different events. She also is a member of the Festival Addicts (https://www.instagram.com/festivaladdicts247/) who host a podcast every Every Tu; 7 pm on FB Live!

This week’s episode is a little heavier as I talk about a subject that is not all sunshine and rainbows. If you are someone that is triggered by depression, death, or suicide then this episode may be hard to listen to. I am no expert when it comes to mental health. I am simply sharing with you my experiences and what I have found works for me. We are all different and my hope is just to inspire you to find what works for you and consult professional help if needed.

My girl Lexi and I go in deep on this one! Lexi (https://www.instagram.com/lexibex145/) is the owner of HDBNGR RVWR (https://www.instagram.com/hdbngr_rvwr/) which is a rave clothing and accessory brand. In this episode, we talk about everything from female empowerment to entrepreneurship. Please excuse a couple of technical issues, but this is an episode you want to listen to all the way through.
