The Boys use this episode as a backdoor pilot for an all-Steve, all-Buscemi, all-the-time celebrity worship podcast dedicated to Steve “He’s Been in Several Things You’ve Likely Seen” Buscemi. It’s mainly Christian’s idea, who spends the majority of the episode shouting “he’s classically handsome” which was never really the point of contention and felt more like calculated gaslighting as time went on. But Christian wins I guess. This is what our show is now. Just a podcast dedicated to positively discussing Steve Buscemi’s physical appearance- not even his body of work, legacy, life. Just how handsome Christian thinks he is. I don’t like it any more than Steve Buscemi probably would if he was aware of this podcast.
