This conversation or topic might be the only thing about this person or setting that needs to be "endured".  Hop in your DINGHY for a quick trip, come back and you may be able to see all the wonderful things that can bring joy to the experience.

It is a skill and sometimes there is a learning curve...BUT, it is better to have a DINGHY and not need it than to need a DINGHY and not have it.
