January 14, 20207onSunday - Why thinking about death every morning is good for you & ways to talk to peopleSo it's not as dark and as morbid as it sounds a stoic principle I've applied after close friends have passed and friends parents have passed made me realise the fragility and inevitability of life. After pandering in Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius Meditations and completing seneca shortness of life all compounded with the power of now. I realised accepting your worst fears makes you HYPER grateful for what you have and from this place it's hard to be unhappy as the worst case you know will come has not come today. It also makes you more proactive in showing love and appreciation of others and to yourself. knowing that your lucky to even wake up able to move see hear breathe smell touch taste. As some dont and some peoples family dont and some people loose these things so be grateful you made it 24 hours with all in tact. LISTEN FOR MORE DEPTH. It's a philosophy I love to discuss so I'm happy to collaborate and expand on an episode with someone...more22minPlay
