Gains yesterday across the board as President Trump pulls back on threats to Jerome Powell and suggests an easing of tariffs on China.

The Market rose again yesterday likely on news from the administration that President Trump is not thinking of firing Fed chair Jerome Powell, and an annoucement that there are 13 countries with plans on the table for tariff reductions.

The Market and the value of the U.S. dollar both closed down on Monday because of uncertainty over success in the trade wars. Investors also are worried about the administratiion's attacks on The Fed and its' chairman Jerome Powell

The negativity and uncertainty reports have Tim in a mood today. A deep dive into the numbers show that things are not nearly as bad as the headlines would make it seem.

Wall Street saw gains yesterday when tariffs  on some electronics were paused. The Trump administration is also looking at a pause on some auto tariffs in an attempt to spur investment in that sector.
