Although the Market started off wildly Wednesday morning things actually ended up quite well. Early jitters gave way to a steady uptick. More corporate reports still to come Thursday and Friday but if things remain the same we could end up with another positive week for Wall Street

What should have been a "Good News Wednesday" was the victim of a mixed market on Tuesday. We lost a few of the gains made on Monday but not enough to send us into a tail spin or to make Tim worry too much about the future of the Market.

A good way to start the week on Monday with numbers once again being pulled upward by the tech stocks. Despite reports about Spotify and a few other companies cutting back on staff the numbers looked good. More corporate reports to come this week but Tim thinks we may be in for a "Good News Wednesday"

Friday ended up being a good day for investors which helped close the week on an upswing. More corporate repeorts to follow this week and if tech can continue to pull the rest of the market up we'll have a good week.

Stocks once again dropped on Thursday leaving the market looking at a down week after starting the new year off with two good weeks in a row. More corporate reports could change that but Tim takes a look at the year to year numbers and finds some solace.

It wasn't a good news Wednesday and today wasn't much better althoug Tim always manages to find some silver lining among the poor financial news. Major reports continue to filter in from the big banks and corporations. Today's reports could give us a good news Friday maybe.

While the news for the S & P 500 wasn't the best, a slight drop did not stop it from being "a good news Wednesday" . Tim has the positive news from Wall Street

Markets in the U.S. were closed for the holiday yesterday but both Europe and Asia saw movement. Big banks and other corporate reports are expected this week to possibly continue the good news from last week.

Thursday was a good day on Wall Street as reports show the CPI is doing much better than expected. Investors are bouyed by the news and await what Friday corporate reports and others government numbers show.

After a 'good news Wednesday' Tim follows up with an unexpected 'good news Thursday'. Markets are moving upward before this morning's reports and Friday's numbers are released. We'll know a little more about where we might be headed on Friday morning.
