Fall to your knees and weep. As you exit your corporeal form due to crushing despair over the loss of narrative-driven video games, the Reaper dabs in triumph.

It's a week of bad looks at 2v1, with EA closing Visceral Games and any hope of a promising single player focused Star Wars game with it. Activision/Blizzard wants you to covet the game-winning items of Marquee Players and Xbox reveals its delusion.

Also discussed: Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Steamworld Dig 2, Rocket League, Cuphead, Alienation, Mario + Rabbids

Everyone hates loot crates. Well, some people. And it depends on the game. And what if you can buy them with in-game currency? But is it gambling?! What we're trying to say is loot crates are divisive.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War dominates this episode as the follow up to a game Nick & Josh (and some dude named Cody who joins again) greatly enjoyed. There's much to discuss outside of loot crates including new gameplay twists, updates to the Nemesis system, breaking Lord of the Rings universe and a more interesting world to explore.

The streak of guests continues this week with friend of the show, Lindsey!

The Star Wars Battlefront II beta opens up to the public and it appears to be an improvement for the revived series. Fortnite Battle Royale is still fun and Cuphead is a must-buy.

2v1 covers a lot of games this week: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Metroid: Samus Returns, Persona 5, Last Guardian, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Undertale & Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain.

It turns out 2v1 is having a blast with Fortnite Battle Royale - but how does it compare to the 2017 classic PUBG?

Another week dissolves into history as 2v1 welcomes back their friend Cody to help Nick discuss the depth of Divinity Original Sin 2 as well as the mythical, hardcore, 1930's action game, Cuphead.

The gang discusses the future of Battle Royale games, Zelda's Master Trials, the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer, Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain & more.

2v1 is joined this week by friend and long-fan, Caley, to discuss RPGs and the sudden controversy between Fortnite & PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds developers.

Alex and Nick gush about Metroid: Samus Returns, Caley let out his rebel teen emotions in Oxenfree, Nick is overwhelmed by Divinity: Original Sin 2 & Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.

Also discussed: Mario + Rabbids, Octopath Traveler, Destiny 2 and the relevance of Rare

Metroid is back.

While the return of a favorite series is exciting news, the launch is marred by pre-order delivery woes for Alex and Nick. But that didn't stop Nick from diving back into the hunt for space suit abilities and missile upgrades.

2v1 wraps up their limited opinions of Destiny 2, Josh revisits Dishonored 2 with the new standalone title: Death of the Outsider, Mario + Rabbids continues to entertain and the Nintendo Direct was a wealth of information.

Destiny 2 has finally been unleashed upon the gaming community and it seems to be more of the same...but better? 2v1 spends some time discussing some of Destiny 2's quality of life improvements and whether or not consumable shaders are a step too far.

Alex finds enjoyment in the broken Friday the 13th and Fortnite's tutorial is too long. Nick is entrenched in tactical RPGs with Xcom 2 & Mario + Rabbids. Josh loved What Remains of Edith Finch.

Also discussed: TellTale's Batman, Outlast 2, Hitman

The rush of fall video game releases is about to begin and 2v1 is playing a lot of games. Alex is running for his life (over and over) in Outlast 2, Josh is extremely disappointed by Matterfall, Nick is still only playing fighting games but managed to complete Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Things: Hollow Knight, Nidhogg 2, Xbox One X is apparently desired, Xcom 2, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter V, Playstation 5??, Rivals of Aether, Ratchet & Clank, Enter the Gungeon, Half Life 2 Episode 3 (sort of), and why is Venmo a thing?
