Having boundaries doesn’t mean you love others any less. It is ok to love people from a distance if it means your well-being mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually is protected.

Self-love is NOT selfish.

Our relationship with God is the most important relationship that we’ll ever have.

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has plans to give us the future that we hope for, but do you really trust God’s plan?

Scripture tells us that love is patient, kind, not rude, not jealous, not boastful, keeps no record of wrong, does not rejoice about injustice, rejoice when truth wins out, never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance (1 Corinthians 14:4-7 NLT). When you look at the attributes of God’s love, can you truly say that you love the way God loves?

1 Corinthians 7:9 tells us that it’s better to marry than to burn with lust. When you consider the sacredness of marriage, is it worth saying “I do” just to be able to fulfill our fleshly desires or is it worth putting in the work to learn and exercise self-control while you wait for that special someone?

Sometimes what feels like delay or denial is God protecting us from things we can’t see. God knows when we are truly ready for the things our hearts desire.
