Because if they don't...what do you even talk about?
Today I somehow keep a conversation with Sara to less than an hour. She speaks about working in a classic malt shopp(e), and how working in service led her to becoming an event photographer. Sara has recently taken a step back from the industry, which has given her some incredibly well articulated perspective on the rapid changes we're all seeing.
She also sheds some light on why we shouldn't be so self critical in pictures, especially those with people we love.
Enjoy!

Today we have Brandon! Another firm midwesterner with work ethic to boot and unmatched charisma. Brandon specialized in being nice to the elderly since 14, then moved on to being the most loved person at pretty much every job he's had since. Brandon is proof that nice guys do actually win, and that being empathetic, but with a good dash of humor is the way to get through even the toughest shifts.
He also has a story that will prove that you never really do know your regulars...and maybe you shouldn't.
Enjoy!

Today we have...my brother! A person who, like me (obviously) grew up with work ethic that made him a dishwasher at 15, a bartender at 18...and unlike me, got right out of the industry and went to business school. Smart guy.

Thank you for downloading episode two!
In this episode, I talk to Ay, who has worked in Fast Food, Catering, Coffee and Wine. They have stories for days and I was lucky enough to laugh along with (hopefully you) hearing them.

Thank you for joining me for the inaugural episode of Whining and Dining! A podcast the believes everyone should have to work in the service industry, if even just for the stories.
We'll be dropping new episodes every Monday - hopefully your day off.
