Whip Busters

Welcome to our very first installment of "The List - Listbusters". On this episode, we have a full cast AND we did something individually that took a very long time to do - our very own top games of all time!

A few of us spent a couple of hours painstakingly sorting through every game we've ever played and placed them on a spreadsheet that ended up with a few hundred games each. We learned a few things during this process and witnessed our own personal evolutions in gaming.

Don't take the title seriously, but we're back with another really cool episode! Brian and Stephen talk about some recent events such as the crazy IGN review plagiarism debacle, the amazing Smash reveals and how gorgeous Red Dead Redemption 2 looks.

No seriously, we're back. This time we're for real. Bet.

It's here! Part 1 of our 2018 E3 Press Conference podcast special! In this episode, we talk about the 3rd party conferences in depth and the moments and announcements that made us either super hyped or incredibly bored. Stay tuned for our next installment when we tackle the major conferences and gush about our favorite trailers and games from each.

P.S. We have a new member of the WhipBusters team! Everyone welcome Colbey! *crowd roars slightly louder than normal*

E3 IS UPON IS VERY SOON! THE WHIPBUSTER DUDES ARE MAKING WILD PREDICTIONS FOR THIS YEARS E3. DO YOU WANNA LISTEN? OF COURSE YOU DO. YOU'RE EXCITED LIKE US. WHY ARE WE TYPING IN ALL CAPS?

EXCITEMENT.

It's been way too long since we've uploaded a podcast. We know, we know, you missed us only slightly. That doesn't matter much since WE HAVE A NEW EPISODE

Listen to the us just gush over how much we love God of War. We also talk a little about RAGE and David Cage?

LOOK WHO'S BACK GUYS! NO SERIOUSLY, LOOK. WE ARE FINALLY BACK AND NOT ACTUALLY DEAD! (That's enough caps lock for now.)

After a few months hiatus, we WhipBuster dudes are back with a super long special discussing our 2017 Games of the Year. We might be a month late on the discussion but we had to make sure the dust settled before we made our final lists.

We also discuss other categories like:

Favorite Villain

Favorite Protagonist

Favorite Overall Character

Biggest Dissapointment

Most Anticipated for 2018

Games We Regret Not Playing

Favorite Game World

Favorite Soundtrack

...and not many more!

It's a long episode so bare with us. Sound Quality may not be super good but we're working on upgrading in the near future!

Did you get your Halloween horror game fix? If you answered no (which is the correct answer) then it looks like we might be able to alleviate half of the issue! We decided that it was a great idea to talk about our favorite ghosts, a little bit about a visual novel called Doki Doki Literature Club and some movies that are closely related to our horror-cast!

Recently Visceral Games had been shut down amidst a shift in development priorities. The Whip Busters discuss various topics stemming from the studio closing as well as what we've been recently playing since we've been pretty quiet lately!

A shorter episode deserves a shorter description. We're talking about game franchises that need a a little or a lot more love than they are receiving. Listen now!

Have you ever wanted to pitch your own game idea to a studio? Do you have a vision for the perfect game to make so others can enjoy your own personal masterpiece? Do you want a big name studio (or small one) completely derail your idea with their own insane marketing strategies and development input? No? Well, it's bound to happen anyways! Join us in our super serious roundtable discussion of what kind of game we want to make turn into a clustermess of a situation when we try to make "questionable marketing practices" sound like a good thing!
