FICO credit scores are very very important and sometimes it's hard to know exactly. In this episode, we are going to discuss ways that you can raise your credit score! Also, on the flip side, it's just as important to know what will lower your credit score as well! 

What accounts for your Credit history:

Payment History: 35%

Credit Utilization: 30%

Length of Credit History: 15%

Credit Mix: 10%

New Credit: 10%

What credit scores do you currently need to qualify for mortgage loans? 

Conventional: 620-640

FHA Loans: 580-620

VA Loans: No min credit score requirement, but they typically like to see 620+

USDA Loans: 640
