This week's episode is a juxtaposition of two interesting topics. First, we talk CPO Rolex. There are a few different takes on what it could mean for the "secondary" watch market, grey market dealers, and overall supply of watches. There are some other, ancillary items related to this that have been slightly overlooked as well.

We also talk about the most wonderful night of the year (if you are a watch nerd in the greater Cincinnati area) Whiskey&Watches at Richter & Phillips. Catching up with old friends, seeing new watch models, speaking with brand reps, and enjoying a cocktail or two. This is one of our favorite events each year, and Spence and Buzz regale Spangler with our highlights from the night. This event holds a special place in our hearts (and our podcast history) as it is where Spence and Buzz met Spangler in 2018. The result of that meeting, you all have stayed tuned to for 140 episodes!

This week's episode is a long time coming. Spence, Spangler, and Buzz have the opportunity to chat with Mike Pearson from Zodiac watches. We talk about the brand's direction, the heritage of the Zodiac name, and some hints at what is to come.

It is refreshing to hear the overall direction for Zodiac, under the stewardship of the Fossil Group, from Mike. Stewardship is the correct term for the relationship. Zodiac is a brand with 140 years of history, a history that is being showcased by the new ownership. Some of the stories that Mike relates to us speak volumes to the direction the brand is heading, and we are very excited to see what comes next!

This week's episode feels like a long time coming. Spence and Spangler sit down with Everett and Christian from Foster Watch Company to talk about the 11 Atmos. The guys touch on the design process, Christian's point of view as more of a "normie" and how the entire project came together.

We reference Montgomery Ward, Foster Road, podcasting, Jazz, you name it. This was the perfect way for 40&20 and Whiskey&Watches to bond over what looks to be a killer release. Even Joey Harrington agrees!

This episode explores complications. Not from an educational perspective, mind you, but from the perspective of what we would like in a complication. Whether it is combining existing complications, making up for user ineptness, or alerting to geographically specific astronomical phenomena. This was a fun topic, with only a few side bars. Enjoy!
