President Joe Biden addresses the White House Tribal Nations Summit on December 6, 2023.

Biden was introduced by Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Bryan Newland, a political appointee at the Department of the Interior.

The summit is being held at Interior headquarters in Washington, D.C.
