On this episode, we welcome an athlete who needs little introduction, professional IronWoman, Georgia Miller.

Georgia has done it all in the iron racing world, having ticked off wins in the Coolangatta Gold, Nutri Grain Series and World Championships.

Perhaps her most extraordinary achievement however, came in April this year at the Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships, where she took home gold in each of the nine events she competed in.

Now these aren’t just punters she’s competing against. These are some of the fittest, toughest female athletes in the world, yet she’s still dominating and remains at the top of her game.

Despite the extensive resume, we all came away from this chat thinking that Georgia Miller is a better person than she is athlete.

We discuss all aspects of her career, including her ability to find balance away from professional life, the brutality of the Coolie Gold, her work with the Manly Sea Eagles, her studies in nursing, and heaps more.

Known in the ring as 'The Flamingo', Jacob's 15-0 professional record (11 by K.O.) has seen him rise into the world top 10 in the IBF and WBO lightweight rankings.

The Gold Coast local breaks the stereotypical mould of a boxer, being one of the more respectful and humble sportspeople you will come across.

We chat about his experience living and fighting in Thailand, why he doesn't engage in trash talking with his opponents, his approach to gratitude and plenty more.

Jacob is currently nursing a shoulder injury but has plans of a huge return to the ring towards the end of 2021.

On this episode, we welcome the Director of Physical Education at Benowa State High School, Ian Hutchison.

Hutch, as we know him, has been in the role for the best part of a decade, having a significant influence on students and staff alike, and everything sport related that goes on at Benowa High.

Beyond his work as an educator, Hutch has competed in five Ironman triathlons, played soccer for the Brisbane Strikers in the NSL, and is a keen surfer.

Perhaps the most fascinating part of the conversation for us though, was his insight into coaching and personal development. Volleyball, Rugby Union, Soccer, Netball, Hockey.  You name it, Hutch has probably coached it.  Ask anyone who's been coached by the great man, and they'll you that he's right at the top end of the best coaches they've ever played under.

This was an awesome chat, and something that Cas, Ryan and myself were bloody privileged to be a part of.

As far as inspirational stories go, they don't come much bigger than this. In 2015 in his grade twelve year, out of nowhere, Jake Bailey was diagnosed with with Stage 4 Burkitt's Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. This is a brutally aggressive form of cancer and essentially, if it went untreated any longer Jake had a matter of weeks to live.

Fast forward more than five years and Jake is an endurance sport beast. Amongst his athletic endavours, Jake is also a public speaker, charity ambassador, business owner and author.

This episode was recorded on January 27 2021, two days before Jake's 5 year remission from the cancer. He's a genuinely lovely fella with an amazing story to tell, and we know that you'll come to the end of this episode with a smile on your face and a greater appreciation for the little things that life has offer.
