Swigart is the cofounder and director of the Global Immersion project, a peacemaking organization that cultivates everyday peacemakers by immersing them in global conflict. He is also the author of "Mending the Divides: Creative Love in a Conflicted World."

Local historian Logan Camporeale, M.A., discusses racial restrictive covenants in Spokane's history. These discrimination policies remain on current housing documents, despite being unenforceable by federal and state law.
