Was covid ultimately designed to undermine the concept of collective action, to protect today's royalty?

Yellow Vests, though always popping up and increasing, could still be better understood in America.
A critique and yellow vest response to the recent discussion between James Corbett and Belgian Professor Matthias Desmet.

The untoward and explicit ruling class protection giveaway can be found starting at Minute 102, where Desmet starts to blame the lower classes, explicitly protects the elite at Minute 104, and Corbett takes time to concur at minute 105 through the end of the Corbett/Desmet discussion here:

This was a fascinating interview at first blush, and remains highly recommended. But I have to say the second watching struck me as much less impressive, as well the third, seeming more contrived, and, although the book being discussed is not yet available to read, seems to be just as likely to be driven by ideological confirmation bias, and possibly in a lucrative way, and itself strikes as a sort of "scientism..."
Was this the ultimate goal of the covid charade? -to none-too-subtly forever discredit the notion of collective action itself, and thereby further insulate the elite from the only possible threat that could actually tople them?
Are we past peak Corbett? James Corbett is facing de facto politician status... and his instincts are good. (Of course yellow vests don't do politicians... but a good one starts by knowing where to gain personal advantage)
Corbett's counter revolutionary waste of breath in defense of the ruling class, while mentioning nothing in the face of artificial class-based on-going global mass murder, reflects Corbett's increasing interest in the status quo.

In this context, it is noteworthy the lengths these two go to, to avoid mentioning that these global machinations originate in the hoarding ruling class, something Corbett certainly understands very well.
