    Julian Assange doing better than anyone I've ever heard of in fighting "extradition" really... this multi year battle is generally unheard of.
    The notion that the UK and the US are manifestly different entities in this world of clandestine "government" is functionally absurd.  5 eyes.  👁👁👁👁👁
    The US is just the muscle of the British Empire that Assange, an Australian, is a subject.
    Nonetheless, and despite hints that perhaps not all surrounding the Assange and Snowden cases are completely as they seem...
    (Ask Barrett Brown -hacker of Palantir and subsequent federal prisoner- about Assange.  Glen Greenwald helped mothball huge swaths of the Snowden files.)
    Assange in context of the Alexei Navalny case.
    The Assange case remains immensely important if one were to still hold out hope for any sort of rule of law, and more fundamentally, any sort of notion of basic human rights, freedoms of speech and press.
    For some young people, this might be "non anomalous" -like other unsatisfactorily investigated "facts" of history.
    Information asymmetry.  Its completely upside down.
    The people MUST be assured of personal privacy, while "governments" MUST be transparent. (60 years of James Bond movies notwithstanding!)

    From the parking lot of the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, which continues to require proof of vaccination...  I don't play these games, but we will try to enter tomorrow on yellow vest Saturday, and explain that they are violating a fundamental set of human rights.
    But before addressing the topic, I had the honor of marching in Portland with JFPK on Thursday. Jayland Walker.  Absolutely disgusted to see that at the location Patrick Kimmons was murdered by Portland police, someone has removed all the trees and sbrubbery from area. -his mother having planted a tree at that location in Patrick's honor. Provacative af.
    Those who promote John Locke forget his ideas were purposely excluded from the Declaration of Independence.
    And this royal lie of private property imprisons us ever moreso today, unquestioned, as if nothing else could possibly exist.
    Continuing with further Corbett criticism, he recently interviewed Connor Boyack, who is like this certain type of American Heretic who rewrites history with his ammendment "Life, Liberty and PROPERTY"
    ("Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness" is the actual text)
    Boyack also played a fundamental role in the subversion of the democratic results of Utah's Prop 2 in 2018, acting as a defacto self appointed (church appointed) politician.
    You can't own the earth!   Native Americans were convinced these colonists were mentally ill...  and are we not still living under the false royal lie that they own the earth on which we sleep and thus justify hoarding our natural abundance and doling it back to us wrapped in plastic??!?
    Maybe we should quit basing our ideas of human life on the writings of men who literally didn't believe others were human.
    But for whatever those documents are worth, there is little doubt the Declaration of Independence stands as, by far, the most important American colonial scrawl.
    We didn't defeat the royals pursuant to 1776, we only broke from them... on paper.  Is it not true the revolutionary war with London never ended?  Have we we not, in reality, been recaptured by royal subtlety?
    They just call them billionaires now.

    This was a fascinating interview at first blush, and remains highly recommended.  But I have to say the second watching struck me as much less impressive, as well the third, seeming more contrived, and, although the book being discussed is not yet available to read, seems to be just as likely to be driven by ideological confirmation bias, and possibly in a lucrative way, and itself strikes as a sort of "scientism..."

    Was this the ultimate goal of the covid charade? -to none-too-subtly forever discredit the notion of collective action itself, and thereby further insulate the elite from the only possible threat that could actually tople them?

    Are we past peak Corbett?  James Corbett is facing de facto politician status...  and his instincts are good. (Of course yellow vests don't do politicians... but a good one starts by knowing where to gain personal advantage)

    Corbett's counter revolutionary waste of breath in defense of the ruling class, while mentioning nothing in the face of artificial class-based on-going global mass murder, reflects Corbett's increasing interest in the status quo.

    In this context, it is noteworthy the lengths these two go to, to avoid mentioning that these global machinations originate in the hoarding ruling class, something Corbett certainly understands very well.
