This past Sunday we talked about the power of community, and we started with a simple but life-shaping question: Who are you doing life with? With the loneliness epidemic rising, the solution is found in our original design as God created us for community. When we starve ourselves of it, it impacts every aspect of our lives. 

In Daniel 3, we see a powerful story of three young men who embodied what it meant to live in Godly community. Here are some lessons we learn from their example: 

• Godly community anchors you to God, so you don’t have to bow to the pressure of culture 

• Godly community is cultivated over time — not formed overnight 

• Godly community strengthens you to face life’s battles head on 

• Godly community welcomes God’s presence and makes room for His power 

In Daniel 3, the men didn’t avoid the fire, but they also didn’t face it alone. God showed up in the furnace, turned the impossible into a testimony, and even transformed the king’s heart through their faith. 

As we step into this week, my prayer is simple: don’t fight alone. God has a better way - He wants to surround you with people who will stand with you, sharpen you, and help you experience His presence in every battle you face.
