Whatever we find acceptance in, whatever we find greatest happiness in, that is our true god regardless of what we confess; because that thing, whatever it is, will have our most focused attention and as a result, yields the greatest power to point us to who we are, what we want, what we should and shouldn’t do and what we are worth, basically forming our identity.
