Who Are Your Marriage Influencers? :: [Ep. 161]

Who are your marriage influencers? What voices have your ear? Who is your first phone call to when something tough is happening in your marriage? Who speaks into your life?  This is so important to think about and consider. Influencers according to God’s Word have a high responsibility. Join us as we talk about 2 types of Influencers: The ones who speak into your life continually and the people who call in times of crisis. We will give practical, biblical advice on others influence on us and our influence on others. Don't miss it!

P.S. AFTER you have listened, come back here in the Show Notes and write down some helpful questions (below) that will help you thoughtfully consider this Influencer topic!

• Take a minute and jot down the answers to these questions for yourself and for each person you love. Talk about it and PRAY about it!
  1. Who  do you turn to in crisis? Who does your child turn to in crisis? How about your spouse?
  2. Who speaks into your life on a recurring basis? Who speaks into your child's life on a recurring basis? What about your spouse?
  3. Who do you follow on YouTube? Who do your kids follow? Who does your spouse follow?
  4. Who has a genuine influence in your life on a consistent basis? Is that influence reliably pointing us to Christ? What about your kid(s)? Spouse?
  5. Who are the Influencers who send us down the rabbit trails of sin? (maybe they are known personally; maybe it's a voice on social media that has NO CLUE they are affecting your life in such a way.)
  6. Who are the friends we need to take from that position of authority?
  7. What are the relationships we need to hit pause on until we are strong enough spiritually to be a godly influence on them?
• You might need to confess you don't know the answers to all these questions. This isn't fatal BUT it's not a place to stay.
• Let TODAY be a day that God reveals in your own life and in the life of those nearest to you who has influence.
