Glenn and the fam made it through the NOLA tornadoes safely and we are back with episode 2. The NFL will not let us go. There is no such thing as the off season so we tell you what really happened with Bruce Arians. It wasn't because he wanted to retire. Tom Brady flexed. We crowned a Princess of Shade, Kevin Durant. We get into plenty of NBA playoff discussion. And, of course, Will Smith smacked the shit out of Chris Rock. Our perspective may surprise some. Stay tuned because next week we are dedicating a whole episode to listener questions picked at random!
We're baaaack!!! With a vengeance because the NFL post season and the QB carousel has been on fire. Our queen of shade Aaron Rodgers cashed and plenty more to discuss. Kurt Cousins...Really?! The NBA march towards the post season is interesting: are the Brooklyn Nets emerging as a favorite? And we get to discuss the Braves as we head toward MLB opening day. And of course, our thoughts and prayers for the safe return of Brittney Griner.
We are excited to be back and Season 4 kicks off with a great episode. In addition, we have got exciting news to come about expanding our reach. Welcome back sporties!
Season 3 comes to an end and we had to give our listeners some love because we are honored. This episode we give our take on the Super Bowl and we give some thoughts about the off-season to come. Speaking of which, our Queen of Shade Aaron Rodgers is single again....Just come to the family, if you know what I mean. We are waiting with open arms. The Lakers are old and Anthony Davis went down....Again. And no one wants Russell Westbrook. Blow it up and try again. The Ben Simmons trade for James "thickums" Harden was the best outcome possible to salvage two sinking ships, but I can't call it good. Thank you all and we will be back with Season 4 on March 1st.
I don't know why but Glenn really dislikes James Harden...or thickums as we affectionately call him. Conference championship weekend did not let us down. Joe Burrow is the new Joe Namath. And of course, Brian Flores has set this football world on fire and we are here for it. I hope others stand with him...I doubt it but what say you?
This was an epic episode in response to an epic weekend of divisional NFL playoff football. Three walk off wins and stunning upsets. We discuss it all. In addition, we translate the whitewashed statements from Gisele Bundchen about Tom Brady retiring. It involves her CFM pumps, lingerie, a fur coat and a private jet to Rio. This was fun.
Wild card weekend was everything. It gave what it needed to give.....except for the Dallas Cowboys of course. Plus we look forward to the exciting divisional round to come. So excited to be back and this was such a fun episode. Its definitely worth the listen. Also, great questions Sporties! We love you.
The NFL picture is coming together and we discuss. We re-cap the College Football Playoff as underwhelming as they may have been. But to Casey, come get your shirt anyway. We have a good time discussing Antonio Brown with more than just the low hanging fruit. We know he needs help but lets dig a little deeper. This NBA season is a Covid-19, Omarion (I did that on purpose) shit show. Plus, we had to discuss our Queen of Shade Aaron Rodgers....And he seriously put his feet right in that camera!
This was a fun episode to close out 2021. But we must show our respects to the great John Madden. Rest in Power. We do a deep dive into the NFL play-off picture. We get into some NBA discussion. And, as we gear up for the College Football Playoff, shout out to our listener Casey for standing with the Cincinnati Bearcats faithfully....God bless you. I apologize in advance.
The listeners' questions made this episode so much fun. To the Cincinnati Bearcats faithful, our Sportie Dennis is holding you down. Go with God Dennis. Keep hope alive....I suppose. :-) After a week away for adulting...careers and stuff... we are back with everything College Football Playoff and Bowl season and a deep dive into the NFL Playoff picture taking shape. Congrats to Steph Curry, the most prolific and talented shooter to ever do it. And As I publish this, we learned that Urban Meyer got fired for kicking a player in the pre-season. I personally would have thrown hands but that's me.
This show loves College football and we get into plenty of it in this episode. Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly are the first in jump in the honey pot. There will be plenty more as College football accepts it is a business and moves further away from the "amateur-student athlete" grift. Plus, rivalry weekend was ridiculous and the CFP Rankings show it. We discuss the NFL playoff picture taking shape, the good, bad and the ugly...and also the good looking of course. Its exciting to be back. I missed you Sporties!
