Today we continue our study verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. Jesus has taken his disciples aside and is questioning them about who people think he really is. When asked who they think he is, Peter answers for the group by declaring Jesus is "the Christ, the Son of the living God." This true confession, spiritually enabled, will serve as the foundation upon which Christ will build his unstoppable church. Scripture text is Matthew 16:13-20.
