Who gives you your identity? It's the question of all questions. For from our identity, flows the manner in which we live. How I answer will determine the course of my life. For the Christian, it comes from above: "Christ, the final Adam, by the revelation of the mystery of the Father and His love, fully reveals man to man himself and makes his supreme calling clear." (Cf. Guadium et Spes #22). If not from Christ, we'll attach our identity to the loudest voice in our culture which relentlessly tells us that our value is more money, more power, more honor, and more pleasure. To that shrill voice, I call out "LIES!" I am beloved Son of the Father.
