Jesus declares Himself the true vine in John 15, calling us to remain connected to Him for spiritual sustenance. Just as branches cannot produce fruit when disconnected from a vine, we cannot live fruitfully apart from Christ. God acts as the gardener, pruning us for greater fruitfulness and removing what hinders our growth. Remaining in Christ means daily communication through prayer, studying Scripture, and following His commands to love. When we stay connected to Jesus, we experience His complete joy within us and bring glory to God through the fruit we bear.
