Who is witnessing your work? That’s the question that’s been on my mind for the last few months. Who is there to provide accountability, encouragement, support and to reflect back what they’re seeing about how you show up for your creative work while you’re in process, not just once you’ve finished and released a project?
This episode focuses on ways others can witness your work, whether that’s as accountability partners, someone you can share your process reflections with, or someone you can share parts of your drafts-in-progress, not for constructive feedback, but just to have it received and held and heard.
I also talk about ways you can witness your own work through process or story journals, as well as the thing that’s provided me the most motivation to finish a draft.
