Another winner by Rod Philbrick! With all the anti-bullying attention kids books is getting this is a very readable & believable story of an adventure, a mystery and a friendship between two unlikely boys. It's on my gift-giving list!

Page-turning Mystery

Arthur Dash may be the meanest boy in schoolâa âbig, fat, scary-looking dudeââ to some, but when he tells this rollicking whodunit for readers ages 9-12, his voice is more worried than warrior. But his schoolmate Darius Drake, the red-headed smartest and weirdest ward of the Stonehill Home for Children, thinks heâs tough enough to offer protection, and now Arthur must prove it.
