Elena Sanchez Hawkins, a 29-year-old mother of two, was brutally murdered inside her Elizabethtown, Kentucky home on January 8, 1992. Her body was discovered by her husband, who found her with her throat cut, wrists bound, and signs of sexual assault. A black Datsun pickup truck was seen leaving the scene around the time of the murder, but despite this and other leads, the case remains unsolved.
