The Doctor encounters River Song again and this time she’s married…to someone else. 

A man named Nardole tells The Doctor he’s needed to save someone’s life.  Before finding out who, he meets River and believes she is joking when she doesn’t recognize him.  She needs him to save the love of her life, her husband Hydroflax.  He is the tyrant leader of billions of people and happens to have a diamond lodged in his head. 

River’s in a quest to get the diamond even if it means taking Hydroflax’s head…literally. The Doctor slowly realizes that River doesn’t recognize him. Annoyed and a little hurt, he still joins River to retrieve the diamond.  He wants to protect her and keep dropping hints that he is not just a doctor but The Doctor, HER Doctor.  

The Doctor has found his way back home to Gallifrey, and he’s really really…angry.

At the barn near the Citadel, The Doctor draws a literal line on all of Gallifrey. The Time Lords try to arrest him but the soldiers won’t fire on a war hero. They turn on Rassilon who is quickly exiled. As the new president, he promises to reveal who or what the Hybrid is.

To get information on the Hybrid, he convinces everyone that he needs to talk to Clara. They pull her from the timestream at the moment of her death on the trap street. But with Clara by his side again, he reveals that he has no interest in the Hybrid. His sole purpose was to save Clara, no matter the cost to all of time and space. Running to the end of the universe to hide, The Doctor actually finds the answers to many mysteries.

The Doctor is tricked onto a hidden street where aliens live in peace away from humans. There, a meeting with an old friend brings mystery, and another “friend” brings extreme danger.

Rigsy contacts the Doctor and Clara and shows them a number tattoo counting down on his neck. Their investigation leads to a hidden street in London where many aliens live in harmony. But this harmony comes at a price – criminals are marked by a Chronolock, the countdown tattoo, and when the clock reaches zero, a raven arrives to end their life.

The Doctor and Clara work against time to say Rigsy who doesn’t know what he’s done. Complicating the issue is the street’s mayor – Me. And she has a hidden agenda far more dangerous than taking one innocent man’s life.

On a deserted space station (I.D. Le Verrier Station in orbit around Neptune, Sol system), a military team – Nagata (Age 30, Officer 2nd Class, Commanding – Deceased), Chopra (Age 28, Conscript – Deceased), Deep-Ando (Age 40, Conscript 2nd Class – Deceased), 474 (Age 5, Grunt – Deceased) – are searching the station and encounter The Doctor (Age – Unknown, Gallifrean Time Lord, Status – Unknown) and Clara Oswald (Age 27 {relatively} – 21st Century origin, Rank – Unknown, Status – Unknown). They are being hunted by Sleep Men (Age – Unknown, Rank – Unknown, Status – Unknown) who have grown from sleep dust and kill other entities to reproduce. The remaining sentients aggressively attempt to escape the station and death… Static… – PLAYBACK ENDS.

A decision has to be made that could destroy all Humans and Zygons. It’s time for The Doctor to teach everyone a much needed lesson.

The war has started and splinter group Zygons are murdering people in London. Clara has been captured and the Zygon leader, Bonnie, has stolen her form. She posts a video of a Zygon’s transformation causing panic and paranoia to spread around the world.

The fate of the planet comes down to a handful of people in a room. A room with two boxes and a choice. The result will be either Truth or Consequences. Desperate to stop Kate and Bonnie from making the wrong decision, The Doctor tries to explain how and why everything can be saved. But will his words get through to both Human and Zygon?
