Undocumented individuals are actually the least likely to seek medical care, because every hospital visit carries the fear of being discovered and deported. They only show up when it is absolutely unavoidable, yet when they do, their outcomes are worse and the costs are higher. They are a tiny part of the system, but just like other vulnerable groups, they absorb the consequences of delayed care. 

The real danger is the way this narrative is weaponized. Politicians use immigrants as scapegoats while policies that harm the middle class, the working poor, and even healthcare providers slide through unnoticed.
