The boys are back after their summer break, which Tom insisted wouldn't happen! (Can you guess which one of us writes the episode descriptions?)

In Sao Paulo, Corinthians under Pa's (Tom) watchful eye are closing in on the league title. However, with a chasing pack close behind will they be able to get it over the line and complete a domestic and continental double?

Whilst in Rio, Renzo (Lewis) picks up post the two-legged Libertadores epic against River Plate. There's a glut of fixtures to play in a never ending season, as, despite all the football already played, Fluminense still have half their league fixtures left to play. Definitely, in part due to the new Club World Cup format providing a strange detour half way through the season. However, with another spell of heavy fixture congestion and a squad that's picking up injuries left right and centre will Renzo be able to keep the team on track?

Due to some high speed antics filling Lewis' weekend, we're back a little later than usual with the latest update from South America- thanks for your patience.

Pa (Tom) has had some time to make sense of his Corinthians squad, but how have things faired at the end of his first season in charge? Having picked picked up just over half way through the season has he had time to make a mark? Or will his reign start with more of a wimper than a bang?

The Coronation Weekend has been bountiful for Tom's FM game time. With the end of Pa's (Tom) first season in charge of Talleres de Cordoba's top flight season rapidly approaching, where will the team end up? Will anyone be joining him? And is there any way out of the current financial dire straights? And what are the next steps for here?

Whilst in Brazil things are looking up for Renzo (Lewis), having successful navigated a challenging run of fixtures, Fluminese are looking upwardly mobile. With some crunch weeks in the season coming up, including a stint of playing Wednesday, Friday, Sunday for two weeks in a row, will he manage to keep the team ticking in 3 competitions at the same time.

And with some questionable trussonomics from their respective club owner happening for one of the manager,s things might be getting a bit harder still.

After managing a whopping 3 games in last week's pod, Tom has been significantly back on the FM sauce this week. And whilst it's not quite reached Audax Italiano levels, Pa (Tom) is starting to grow some affections for his Talleres de Cordoba side. Especially, as the transfer window has brought some serious activity. Will any familiar faces be joining him in the Liga Professional de Futbol (Argentina's top flight)?

Having had a small amount of time to settle in at Talleres de Cordoba in Argentina, Pa (Tom) has had mixed results. Having crashed out of the Copa Libertadores before he'd even qualified for the main tournament, Pa made an inauspicious start. As the season continues, will past failures haunt him? Especially, as he gets used to Argentina's 'interesting' pitch dimensions.

With the success in Santiago with Universidad de Chile now feeling solidly in the rearview mirror, Renzo (Lewis) took to managing in the Maracana with solid but unspectacular results.
