Folks, it’s been a long, bumpy and fun road. But it’s time for this podcast to regenerate into its next form. We’ll be back in a month or so with something new that will be more regular than the pace we’ve been able to keep up with for the last few months.

In this last episode of Who Virgin, Melissa, Mark and Andy talk about what we want this to become, our ideas for the future and what the Resistance means to all of us.

The new podcast will be more political, but also more broadly geek-centric than just Doctor Who. We’ll still talk about The Doctor, but also we won’t be beholden to just talking about this franchise.

First– we apologize for the technical difficulties on this episode. We lost about 90% of Melissa and the rest of what we got was really garbled. This also delayed the episode a huge deal as Andy tried several fixes and workarounds but mostly it just ended up an editing nightmare.

Basically the last two weeks have just been tricking Andy into watching Who-themed porn. Secret Life of a Call Girl. Billie Piper is now typecast as a ‘ho.

Penny Dreadful is a great show. Why that accent? WHY?!?! Yes, it’s that bad. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: replace one James Bond with another.

Broadchurch. It was cool– the Doctor and Rory, but yet not. Great to see him be under suspicion as the priest, but he was great. Did anyone see him as Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus? No, but we want to. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow- the heart of the show is Rip Hunter and time travel. The last two episodes got good again. Minor spoilers- is he willing to kill a child to save his wife and daughter? It can’t become the villains Captain Cold and Heatwave power hour.

Next week we’ll talk Captain America: Civil War after Melissa sees it. She’s definitely Team Cap. Cap v Iron Man v Batman v Superman. We’ll talk Jungle Book and Criminal maybe.
