We know that reunification is the goal but Here's the deal though it's not always the answer and the ending of the story. 27% of Foster kids come back into the system, why? I believe it's the failing of the system and the workers behind it. Here's the raw and real moments of Foster parents. Nuggets of truth that aren't glorified. The heartache and downright insane things that we go through. The secondary trauma we experience when we put our entire life on the line to bring kids in our home to keep them safe and protected.
