The Broken System

Here is the first in our short mini series of stories that I've seen where there is no protection for the children. It's just a short episode to get your mind thinking about what is wrong with the system.

Introductions of where we are personally in our foster care journey and what we've dealt with in the short time of being foster parents

Let's start the discussion of the broken system we all kind of know about, but you don't truly know unless you're in it. Foster Care is hard work, it's misunderstood and not for the weak. I want to help those feelings and bring truth to what's going on.

This episode was hard for me to sit through and record because for the first time I got to hear Nevaeh's story. This story is what makes her who she is and I'm thankful she is making the best out of her situation. *this story is posted with permission of Nevaeh and after multiple discussions on if she wanted others to know her story.
