Welcoming in 2026! Happy New (calendar) Year! This week we’re having a prominent Capricorn stellium in our sky, with Mercury, Venus and Mars hanging out with the sun. How are these inner planets showing up personally for you?

Venus/Mars conjunction happening right there with the sun - this must be highlighted! Yesterday Venus led the way - Cazimi, at the heart of the sun. With Mars following along today, remaining Cazimi until January 11th. Each planet starting their sunatic cycle. Venus takes around 1.5 years between each Cazimi, and Mars takes around 2 years to do. So, it’s rather significant that they’re having Cazimi at the same time, like having a spotlight dance together.

We can look at what Venus and Mars each signify, along with the synergistic effects they have with one another. Venus representing a more receptive approach. Listening and intuiting, rather than leaping into enforcement. Mars representing an assertive approach, aligned with what drives you, allowing traction with your renewed purpose. What does your version of these combined approaches look like?

Having both Venus Cazimi and Mars Cazimi occurring in our practical, cardinal earth sign of Capricorn - let it be known, this is not about instant gratification. This is about connecting with what’s real and what will last. Tapping into your inner clarity around where you want to place your commitments. Focusing on relationships and collaborations that have the most integrity. You’re doing the inner work to set the foundation for the manifestation of your renewed purpose.
