Hey folks – as is often the case, I feel compelled to unpack the ambiguities of the subject line. By “Here”, I mean “at The Table”. You might have guessed that. However, by “Who”, I mean “which character(s) from a particular, weirdly hopeful biblical story” might have found themselves feeling at home at The Table.That would have been harder to guess.

I don’t want to spoil the surprise by telling you which story I’m thinking of…maybe we’ll have another contest. Kinda like “guess how many jellybeans are in the jar”, except it’s “guess what story is in Tim’s head”. Nah. Having thought better of it, let’s skip the contest. I’ll just tell you on Sunday. One hint though…both the main characters in this story are exploring what they believe, and doing so in ways that would probably have made the people in the prevailing belief systems they came from feel a bit unsettled. I’ll unpack that when we gather at Creative Manitoba at 10:30 (or so) this Sunday.

Coffee will be on, Kid’s Table will be good to go, there will be a warm room to sit and be together in. We have a lot to be thankful for.
