Are you tall enough to ride this ride?! Yes? Cool. Cause we here now! Join Shaylana as we navigate an entire episode not really knowing where it's going to go! If you thought we didn't plan before, this episode takes the cake! Shay has a ton of manwich that Alana knew nothing about and Alana actually has a recent dating app story that almost lead Shay to believe she was single! It gets wild in the studio, y'all. Let's get silly!
This week, Shaylana discusses all of the popular social media platforms. From MySpace to Tik Tok, you'll find out how social media has evolved from their childhood to today. They of course talk pop culture and dating as well and bring you all the laughter! Get ready, it's time again for your fave night in. Look, we’re poets and we knowed it. (We know the proper term would have been 'knew', but that wouldn't have rhymed.)
This week Shay and Alana take you on a dark, twisty, turny road that leads to mayhem, mischief, and definition mishaps. Listen as Shay, the author, forgets words, Alana tells how she became a nosey neighbor, and they both detail their love (and annoyance) with the first book of season 2, Pieces of Her by Karin Slaughter.
It's episode two of season two and Shaylana is back for a full course meal of an episode! The ladies discuss their usual topics, laughing and sippin' on cocktails throughout. Shay can't help but drop some names, (don't worry, we bleeped them out); Alana goes on a tiny rant about a phrase that she just doesn't get, (like, she gets it, but where did it come from?). Lastly, the ladies dive deep into a serious conversation about being black in America. A convo that's got us saying: as a country, we all need group counseling.
We're back, Snack Pack! Has it been the longest 4 weeks of your life?! Probably, since Rona ain't left us but no fear because we're here for another 25 weeks of laughs. So grab your cocktails (or your mocktails) and dive into this catch-up with us. We've missed you, too!
We've reached the end of the very first season of Whole Snacks Podcast! 25 episodes, Snack Pack! T W E N T Y | F I V E Words cannot express how happy we are and how grateful we've been throughout this experience. This is only the beginning and we can't wait to bring you more hilarious and fun content in season 2! Until then, dive into our season finale party where we chit chat about our thoughts on the latest episodes of our favorite reality shows and reminisce on the best parts of season one! There's of course a manwich and a lot of laughter, but we've also got something special for YOU and your snacking inside the episode! Thank you for a great season one, Snack Pack! Cheers to season two!
This week gets a little exotic. Joe Exotic, to be exact! Shay finally got bored enough during quarantine to watch Tiger King and the topic, of course, took a whole lot to decompress all the ratchetness that goes on there. Alana made yet another fancy drink and both ladies had a "squirrel" moment because recording outside let in a whole bunch of new distractions neither of them could resist. Next week is the season finale so make sure to catch up before our 6-feet-apart quarantine party!
Shaylana is back at it again! For a second week, the ladies bring you a new episode while practicing social distancing. This week, they talk about all the things, from pop culture (because what else would they be keeping up with right now) to dating to vision boards. Sit back and relax with your quarantinis and join Shay and Alana for your ultimate night in.
It's finally time for book club! Shaylana teased book club what seems like months ago and it is finally here! Not only are we discussing all things booze and books (and the coronapocalypse of course), we've got a QUEEN in the house!! Guest host, BB Easton, joins us to discuss her debut novel and our book club pick, 44 Chapters About 4 Men. We talk about the book, the Netflix series coming out based on the novel, and everyone's favorite topic, bad boys. Get ready for laughs, dranks, and all the amazing BBness you could ask for!
