Friends, meet Charisse. Charisse and I met years ago at an ETSY Team Captains Summit in Toronto. We instantly bonded over being moms, makers, and our strong desire to go and hide in our hotel rooms away from crowds (we went for coffee instead in a quiet cafe and talked for hours - it was lovely).
Charisse runs Pixel Paper Hearts; a successful humour-filled stationary business. Her work is inspired by ‘real life’ and features her own lettering and artwork (and humour!) She wholesales her work in 44 stores across Canada.
In this episode we chat about why working from home is so great (*normally* so many hours alone!), lessons learned from moving into wholesale (thank-you Emily Arbour), and how to keep the orders rolling in. We dig into why it’s important to just start (even if you don’t feel ‘ready!’), and how wholesale can really help grow your business.
