Wholistic 3000

Gar and Vivien talk about Russell T Davies new memoir "The Queerest of Folk: A Life in Television" wherein Davies gives his version of events about what happened to the cancelled Doctor Who Christmas special and the Billie Piper Doctor. A little bit of disappointing statement from one of their fav boys, to be fair!

They also talk about the short lived freedom there was in imagining the future of the show before the tendering window closed as the BBC zeroes in on a new company to bring the show back. Finally, they talk about a new image from the upcoming preschool series featuring a brand new Doctor called "Doctor Who: TARDIS Crew".

All of this when they were meant to be talking about their own tenders for the show which they actually wrote but you'll have to wait until the next instalment of an already old classic.... WHOLISTIC 3000

Gar and Vivien talk about the big Doctor Who news. Christmas special cancelled! Russell T Davies and Bad Wolf out! Doctor Who being put out to tender!

They examine the nature and fallout of the BBC announcement, speculating about what brought us to this point. They analyse the strengths and shortcomings of the RTD2 era for the umpteenth time and imagine a future for the show liberated from what came before.

It's a bittersweet conversation marking the end of Doctor Who as we've known it for the past 20 years and also Wholistic itself as it looks to regenerate into something else. Stay tuned!

Gar and Enda do a Christmas episode to make up for no new Doctor Who Christmas episode. Zaynab is basically third mic.

Gar and Enda talk about the state of play with Doctor Who, the future of the show and the begrudging obligation to watch The War Between the Land and the Sea. Consider this like the analysis after a  horrible plane crash but for Doctor Who.

Then sadly in the middle of recording they discover that political, cultural commentator Leslie Lee III died. As well as being a Co-vid advocate and educator he was also an exceptional podcaster whose show Struggle Session greatly influenced this show. He will be missed, consider giving to his family and listening to his work.
