John 12:17-19 NLT

17 Those in the crowd who had seen Jesus call Lazarus back to life were telling others about it. 18 That was the main reason so many went out to meet Him — because they had heard about this mighty miracle. 19 Then the Pharisees said to each other, "We've lost. Look, the whole world has gone after Him!"

John 12:20-22 NLT

20 Some Greeks who had come to Jerusalem to attend the Passover paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. 21 They said, "Sir, we want to meet Jesus." 22 Philip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus.

The world sees death as an end. Jesus taught that death was a beginning.

Why would any farmer want to put good seed in the dirt if he thought that he would never see it again?
