On this week’s episode, I speak with horror scholar Tuğçe Kutlu. She wrote her first MA dissertation on grief in horror at University College of London. She taught me about Turkish genies and ghost stories, how her grandfather sparked her love of horror, and what her favorite true horror story was that her grandfather told her before he passed away. She also recalls the first time she saw The Exorcist when she was 13 and how she experienced the movie differently when she saw it again for the first time 20 years later, and so much more.
