If you’ve listened to the Talking Heads I Zimbra, or have gone to a Cirque du Soleil performance, you have experienced Dada. SO What the hell is “Dada”? Not everyone gets Dada; I get that. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) But there is really nothing to get. It is everything and nothing: you get it, you don’t get it, it’s all OK. Available to everyone in all languages because it is no language. In this podcast I have a humorous anecdote about a friend’s response to a Dada poem in my last book. It spurred me on to perform the Dada sound poem I wrote. I trust it will get clearer to those who have read it.
