Why Am I Insecure?

Listen Later

What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.
Proverbs 19:22 NIV

The Bible teaches that, ultimately, what we each desire most is to be loved unconditionally. But when we let our fear of rejection prevent us from being honest about our thoughts, emotions, and insecurities, we end up feeling alone and never truly feel loved. Whether it is our appearance, intelligence, ability, or likability, there are areas of each of our lives that make us feel insecure and unhappy. It is only once we choose to be honest about these things that we will feel the unfailing love that God wants to give us. Join Russ Ewell and friends as they discuss the crippling effect fear of rejection and loneliness can have on us and our relationships. and how being honest with God and people can be what frees us up to feel loved.
