Dog Training DisrUPted

Listen Later

In the last decade or more there has been huge changes and advancements in the dog world at large and within the behavior/training sector. Is this a realistic expectation?

The industries insistence of only including methods which rely on reinforcements has lead to an increase in gadgets and legitimizing "techniques" such as Avoidance and Distraction or simply "Managing Your Dog's Anxiety".  Are these realistic and, when dog owners are not satisfied, is it fair to blame them?
