Lately I've been thinking about why I get so mad at myself for taking a rest day even when I know I need it. The other day, which was during the week. I knew that I had things I needed to get done but instead I decided to take a rest day since I was mentally burned out and just wasn't motivated at all but half way through the day I got upset with myself for not getting any work done when I knew I need this rest day and that made me think how many of us feel this way? How many of us punish ourselves for taking a day to rest and recover? When really it's okay to take a rest day, we as humans will over work ourselves until we are burnt out instead of just taking the time to relax and come back when we are ready, so in today's episode I address this topic and share my feelings around it. And I'm here to tell you that it's okay to rest and come back when your ready. Don't over do it. Learn how to take care of your body and mind before overthinking and over working your body because that's going to get you no where. So, today let's learn to rest more and worry less.
