in south asian culture, it is really hard to express yourself through fashion because you're subject to negative comments from your parents or the community, your body becomes extremely sexualized, or you feel like you can't comfortably wear something because of your gender. one of us dealt with comments of being less masculine because of their experimentation with fashion while the other constantly heard comments about covering up when in the presence of male family members or visitors. in this episode, we talk about our different male/ female perspectives with fashion and all of the difficult times we had it with it growing up.
